Central Plains Chapter Meeting:
"Unstructured Data to Contextualized Intelligence", Rob Schuett, iSight Partners
Rob Schuett graduated with a Bachelor's Degree from Northwest Missouri State University in Management Information Systems. He
was employed as a Systems Integrator at Sprint prior to Joining the FBI as a Special Agent in 2004. His first office of
assignment was the Dallas Field office where he worked closely with the Defense Industrial Base to protect the F-35 Lightning II.
Rob was also a SWAT operator, certified EMT-B, and certified Cyber Instructor. In 2009, he was promoted to Supervisory Special Agent
and stationed at FBI HQ detailed to the National Cyber Investigative Joint Task Force (NCIJTF). While there he mentored and supervised
the China Cyber Espionage program and mentored over 200 field special agents. Rob coordinated operations and investigations across CIA
and NSA as related to the APT. He transferred to the Kansas City FBI field office where he worked the first successful arrest of a
Cyber Espionage actor. In 2014, Rob left the FBI to join Northrup Grumman as a Senior Analyst and helped design and implement the
Insider Threat program while hunting for the APT. In 2015, Rob joined iSIGHT Partners as a Senior Sales Engineer supporting the North
Central and South Central United States. Rob has 3 young children, is an assistant football coach, and is an advocate for Autism research.
Rob will be presenting on Contextualized Intelligence
This presentation will cover the differences between unstructured data, information and contextualized intelligence along with how
intelligence applies to strategic versus tactical decision making.
