ISSA Central Plains Chapter

Central Plains Chapter Meeting:

"SAML. How Does It Know It's You", Travis Lowe

Travis is recognized with an official certification from Microsoft as a Microsoft Office User Specialist in Microsoft Access 2000. Loves security, and has recently been digging into all things identity. During his day to day he is a penetration tester for a largish organization based out of Wichita.

Travis will be presenting on SAML

Organizations use SAML as one way to provide a SSO experience to its employees. Do you know what it is? Do you know how it works? Is it deployed securely in your environment? Do you know what could go wrong if implemented improperly? Do you like pizza*?
If you answered any of the questions above you should come listen, learn, and have fun at this month's ISSA meeting. Where Travis will be taking everyone on a journey into SAML. Discussing what it is, how it works, vulnerable deployments, how to exploit those deployments, and how to fix them.
*There will be NO PIZZA provided. It was more of a general question in regards to pizza.

The Information Systems Security Association (ISSA)® is a not-for-profit international organization of information security professionals and practitioners.  It provides education forums, publications and peer interaction opportunities that enhance the knowledge, skill and professional growth of its members. We hope the ISSA will provide a chance to interface with other IT professionals and further your awareness of security practices and technologies.

This meeting is open to the general public with no expectations of membership.
