"Facing Evolving Web Borne Threats", Joe Brown, (McAfee)

Joe Brown, CISSP is a Network Security Engineer covering the states of Kansas, Missouri, and Wal-Mart Stores for McAfee, Inc. He is responsible for assessing, designing and implementing leading gateway security solutions, as well as leading keynote discussions on information security and assurance. Brown joined McAfee in August 2005. Prior to joining McAfee, he spent eight years in the United States Air Force. His responsibilities included: air-to-air battlefield operations, network engineering and security, and intelligence. After his term with the Air Force he joined Enterasys Networks as a Systems Engineer, leading the West Coast Security team. In July 2002, he joined Wal-Mart's Global Network Security team, guiding the team for over three years. He is an active member and founding chapter president of the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA). Brown graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1991 with a BBA degree in Marketing. His Master's of Business curriculum was completed at the University of Phoenix.


Joe will be presenting on evolving web borne threats.

    Joe Brown will be discussing the latest web security threats. This is an informative discussion designed specifically for your enterprise and the evolving web borne threats you face today including blended threats, malware, phishing, and spyware. A threat briefing of malware discovered within 72 hours of this discussion will also take place.
