Central Plains Chapter Meeting:

"The Art of Testifying", Sgt. Brenda Dietzman

 

The presenter, Sgt. Brenda Dietzman, is the Sedgwick County Sheriff Department sergeant in charge of the community policing unit. She has a bachelors degree in Administration of Justice and Psychology. Sgt. Dietzman has worked for the Sheriff's Department for 13 years as a third shift road patrol deputy, detective and street supervisor in addition to her current position.

 

We will be discussing the art of testifying including:

  • How to document your investigation to help you testify
  • How to prepare
  • What to expect when you are called to testify
  • Do's and don'ts to testifying

 

There will be handouts provided as part of the presentation as well as a time for question and answer at the end of this presentation.
