Central Plains Chapter Meeting:

"IoT Security", Justin Linn, ForeScout Technologies

Justin Linn is a Systems Engineer for ForeScout Technologies. He has more than twelve years of experience in Information Security in industries such as health care, energy, government, higher education, and financial services. Prior to ForeScout, Justin held technical roles with multiple employers, including GuidePoint Security, Saint Louis University, MITRE, and DISA. Justin holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and multiple certifications including the CISSP.


Justin will be presenting on IoT Security


Internet connected devices are proliferating corporate networks at an increasing speed. Justin will discuss the unique security issues these devices present, what IoT means for traditional security controls and how security teams can refocus to address the risk.

 

 

The Information Systems Security Association (ISSA)® is a not-for-profit international organization of information security professionals and practitioners.  It provides education forums, publications and peer interaction opportunities that enhance the knowledge, skill and professional growth of its members. We hope the ISSA will provide a chance to interface with other IT professionals and further your awareness of security practices and technologies.
