Michael will be presenting on Virtual Environment Compliance

VMware servers are becoming increasingly common in today's IT environment. Virtual environments save considerable overhead expense and many feel improve productivity. Yet, for all the benefits, the challenge of maintaining a consistent state of compliance is far greater in virtual environments. In this presentation we'll address how to ensure you maintain your configuration state when migrating from a physical to virtual environment, how to regularly audit system configurations to prevent configuration drift, how to provide evidentiary reports in preparation for compliance audits, and how to maintain business performance levels by identifying authorized and unauthorized changes in your virtual environment.

The topics of this presentation include:
    • Ensuring environmental integrity when migrating from physical to virtual worlds.
    • Auditing a virtual environment for change.
    • Compliance impact of VM usage.
    • Recommendations for securing and ESX environment.
    • Regulatory challenges for ESX environments - Example PCI.
    • Maintaining a sustainable IT compliance program.
