June’s
Central Plains Chapter of ISSA will be meeting this Friday, at the Rockwell
Library on June 3rd.
Nick will
lead a discussion about web server and database server placement with a live
demo of an SQL injection attack, that not only enumerates table data, but can
be used to fully compromise the server by generating a reverse shell to the
attacker.
Then if all
goes as planned, there will be a demonstration from Citrix of their NetScaler
web application firewall that can be used to prevent such compromises.
