Central Plains Chapter Meeting:

”Return on Security Investment – ROSI”, Damon Martin, CISSP

For years, companies have wisely invested in insurance policies that provide organizations protection against unknown losses. As companies continue to rely more heavily on information systems and technology, most have taken on significant risks with little ability to protect their organization's reputation or competitive advantage when those systems are exploited.

In this informative and practical presentation, we will discuss the use of ROI calculations to help you generate organizational support for your security initiatives.  As part of this discussion we will look into Risk Analysis Processes, Tracking Your Security Investments and Selling Security.

"Selling Security to Management Round-Table”, Moderated by Ron Shuck, CISSP

Even with solid numbers to demonstrate that investments into information security can provide significant Return on Investment, it can be difficult to gain organizational or management support for security initiatives.  In this Round-Table discussion we will discuss the issues and challenges associated with “Selling Security”.  This format will allow you to learn from other Information Security Professional’s experiences and successes.
