"Evolution of Intrusion Detection and Intrusion Prevention Solutions", Brian Fitch, ISS

 

The presenter, Brian Fitch lives in Kansas City and is a Senior Systems Engineer at Internet Security Systems. Brian has an extensive security background with an Intrusion Detection focus, having recently transferred from the ISS corporate office in Atlanta. Brian has spent 5 years with ISS in the areas of Engineering, Quality Assurance and Technical Support.

 

We will be discussing the Evolution of IDS and IPS including:

  • Where is IDS and IPS today
  • How to address today's difficult and rapidly evolving threat spectrum
  • Challenges and Advantages of the various IDS/IPS solutions
