David will be presenting on Multi-Extortion Ransomware
As you have likely noticed, news releases detailing ransomware attacks and their massive impacts have become a daily occurrence. The victims of
these ransom groups span across size, geography, and industry verticals, including everything from SLED to Fortune 100 organizations, some even
within our own client base. These ransomware threats range from targeted to opportunistic, and the threat actors include organized crime groups,
as-a-service affiliates, and nation-states. Over the last year, the pace and impact of ransomware incidents have been steadily increasing due in
large part to new extortion methods designed to diversify monetization efforts. In this session, we will explore the history, evolution, and
business impacts of modern multi-extortion ransomware.
