The ability to achieve mission objectives and deliver business functions is increasingly reliant on information systems and the Internet. Organizations will face a host of cyber threats, some with severe impacts that will require security measures that go beyond compliance. The DHS presentation provides key questions to guide leadership discussions about cybersecurity risk management for your agency/company, along with key cyber risk management concepts and available DHS resources.

Since its inception in 2004, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's (DHS) Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) Protective Security Advisor (PSA) Program has been at the forefront of DHS efforts to protect critical infrastructure in the United States. PSA Chuck Clanahan (Kansas District) will discuss the key elements of the PSA program and resources; to include physical security assessments, exercises, training and information sharing.
