Kip and Ron will be presenting on current trends in VoIP Security

As organizations in growing numbers continue to deploy IP telephony on their corporate data networks the question must be asked: "Are we risking the security and integrity of our voice communications?" The answer far too frequently is: Yes, absolutely! It doesn't have to stay this way however. Fortunately, there are specific security measures which when properly deployed will render the ambitious phreaker harmless.

Please join Ron Shuck and Kip Schroeder as they co-present this session on dynamically securing our voice and data networks. You'll leave with the specific measures you can take today to secure your voice communications and more importantly with an awareness of which aspects are most vulnerable.

The Information Systems Security Association (ISSA)® is a not-for-profit international organization of information security professionals and practitioners.  It provides education forums, publications and peer interaction opportunities that enhance the knowledge, skill and professional growth of its members. We hope the ISSA will provide a chance to interface with other IT professionals and further your awareness of security practices and technologies.

This meeting is open to the general public with no expectations of membership.
